TEDxAlabaster Returns August 1 with 16 Speakers, Interactive Art Experience, and Community Celebration
TEDxAlabaster will return on Saturday, August 1, 2026, bringing together a diverse lineup of 16 speakers for an afternoon dedicated to thought-provoking ideas, meaningful conversations, and community connection.
Hosted at the Shelby County Arts Council in Columbiana, Alabama, TEDxAlabaster 2026 will feature 16 speakers representing business, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and community leadership, each sharing an Idea Worth Spreading aligned with this year’s theme, “What We Know Now.” This year’s theme explores the experiences, breakthroughs, and insights that shape how individuals navigate life, leadership, business, health, relationships, creativity, and personal growth.
Speakers will share personal stories, professional insights, and transformative ideas designed to challenge perspectives and inspire impactful action.
TEDxAlabaster 2026 offers attendees a full afternoon experience that begins with a Pre-Event Reception and culminates in an inspiring Main Stage program.
The Pre-Event Reception, beginning at 1:30 p.m., will provide attendees with opportunities to connect, explore, and engage before the main event. Guests will enjoy:
- A tactile art exhibition inspired by the music of Grammy Award-winning musician Dave Crenshaw, creating a unique intersection of music, visual art, and storytelling
- Networking opportunities with attendees and community leaders

The Main Stage Experience begins at 3:00 p.m. and will feature:
- 16 speakers sharing powerful stories, insights, and transformative ideas aligned with the theme “What We Know Now”
