Judi Pritchard to give a talk about brain health, resilience, and hope.
Judi Pritchard, Founder of the Care & Thrive Foundation, will be giving a talk at TEDx Alabaster on August 1 about brain health. With 30 years of experience as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, her foundation is about bringing a proactive, evidence-based approach to brain health and cognitive longevity to individuals, families, and the community.
Today, more than 70 million Baby Boomers are entering the years of highest risk for cognitive decline, with over 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s, and an estimated 200,000 people under age 65 facing early-onset dementia—often while still working, raising families, and leading in their careers. For many people, the first signs of cognitive strain look like:
- Mental fatigue at the end of the day
- Difficulty focusing or recalling information
- Slower decision-making
- Increased stress and being overwhelmed in high-performance environments.
Getting proactive
Pritchard’s work centers around the belief that the brain can be supported, strengthened, and trained. The Foundation offers a structured, personalized approach to brain health—designed to meet people where they are and guide them forward with the goals of:
- Improving focus and mental clarity
- Strengthening memory and processing
- Building resilience under stress
- Supporting long-term brain health
- Improving overall quality of life
Families and Caregivers: you are not alone.
The Foundation also offers support to families whose loved ones are dealing with brain issues—providing education, guidance, and practical tools that can be used immediately.
Pritchard believes that brain health is not just about preventing decline—it’s about preserving independence, clarity, and quality of life.
